Five candidates are running for chairman of the
Southern Ute Tribe of Colorado.
Matthew Box resigned as chairman last month. But he is seeking to regain his post in a special election on April 12.
Also running are Pearl Casias, Kevin R. Frost, Clement J. Frost and Richard “Rick” L. Jefferson. All of the candidates, except for Frost, are current or former council members.
Casias currently serves as vice chair.
