Pueblo man found guilty for murder of Northern Arapaho man

A federal jury convicted a man from
Ohkay Owingeh for the April 2009 murder of Naayaitch Friday, who was a member of the
Northern Arapaho Tribe.
Carl Ernesto Romero, 20, was found guilty of second degree murder. Federal authorities say he shot and killed Friday and left his body at
San Ildefonso Pueblo.
Prior to the incident, Romero and Friday visited casinos owned by
Santa Clara Pueblo and
Pojoaque Pueblo.
