An Act To amend an Act entitled “An Act for the relief of the Saginaw, Swan Creek, and Black River Band of Chippewa Indians in the State of Michigan, and for other purposes,” approved June 25, 1910.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 2 of the Act of June 25, 1910, entitled "An Act for the relief of the Saginaw, Swan Creek, and Black River Band of Chippewa Indians in the State of Michigan, and for other purposes," be, and hereby is, amended so as to read as follows:

"SEC. 2. That any suit or suits under this Act shall be begun within three years after passage hereof by the filing of a petition to be verified by the attorney or attorneys employed by the claimant Indians under contract approved by the Secretary of the Interior and the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, in accordance with existing law. The compensation to be paid such attorneys or attorneys shall be determined by the Court of Claims and shall not exceed the sum of 10 per centum of the amount of the judgment recovered, and in no event shall such fee or fees exceed the sum of $25,000, and the same shall be paid out of any sum or sums found to be due the Indians."2
